2025 Programme Grant annual hui

We held our Programme Grant annual hui in Ōtautahi in July 2025. This was a great chance to bring our teams from around the motu together in person and online.

Over two days we heard updates from the work that our teams have been doing, and further engaged with our goal of ‘reconceptualising self-management’!

The first day celebrated the work of our Project Teams to date. We had three great and engaging presentations from Tūranga Health, our Pacific Project team, and the Donald Beasley Institute. All talks were followed with robust and lively debate and an admiration for the awesome work we were all lucky to hear about.

On day two we starting our work thinking about the themes that connected our three projects and our broader work in the other strands of our programme work on workforce, policy, and broader reconceptualising. As part of this we were exploring ways of evaluating what our project teams do next. A big part of our aspirations for the evaluation is to explore other ways of this evaluation that align with the focus on equity our programme takes.
